Participation is free of charge.
The workshop includes:
-
Discussions on, and sharing of our diverse experiences, feelings and knowledge as disabled women and nonbinary people.
-
Discussions on how we cope emotionally when our rights are violated.
-
A safe space to express our thoughts and feelings freely, without experiencing fear of prejudice or judgement.
-
The exploration of courage to voice our opinions, thoughts and feelings, and to stand for our rights and the possibility for a change affecting our lives and society.
Tabú emphasis a cross-disability approach which means that no person is too disabled or not enough disabled to claim a place in the workshop. It also means that we know and understand that disability is not always visible and that is okay, everyone is welcome.
